The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Wraparound Play Leader to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a caring, secure, and enriching environment for children after the school day, from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

 Key Responsibilities

  •         Deliver a diverse range of engaging and age-appropriate play-based activities to support the holistic development of primary-aged children
  •         Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, contributing to the school's commitment to safeguarding
  •         Manage bookings, payments, and maintain effective administrative systems
  •         Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues
  •         Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently
  •         Collaborate with the school community to promote the school's vision and values

Requirements

  •         Qualified to GCSE level C or above (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy
  •         Recognised childcare qualification (NVQ 3 or equivalent)
  •         Current first aid certificate and food handling qualification (or willingness to undertake training)
  •         Practical knowledge, skills, and experience of working with children
  •         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  •         Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development
  •         Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the children
  •         Experience in managing budgets and working to deadlines
