A fantastic first day. The children have been rock climbing, abseiling, den building, lighting fires and roasting marshmallows, as well as crossing the quarry (full of water) on a team challenge. They have all been beautifully well behaved with lots of pleases and thank you’s. They have eaten well with spaghetti bolognese and peach sponge and custard for tea. To finish off we played rounders and wrote our camp diaries whilst drinking hot chocolate.

Another awesome day with some rafted Kayaking challenges in the quarry, team work on the low ropes and a temple run (scrambling through the undergrowth and over water). After a delicious supper of curry (loved by all) ice cream, home-made cookies and fruit we went off on a ramble around the local area. We  finished the day with camp diaries and hot chocolate. We miss you all but we are having an amazing time and we are even doing our own washing up!!!!!!

We woke up in sunshine but it soon turned to rain. We all togged up in waterproof coats, trousers and wellies and headed out on activities. Two groups took on the orienteering challenge whilst the others zoomed down the zip wire and then we all swapped. In the afternoon we played some team games under cover whilst the rain did its worst. We then made our own Pizzas for supper and polished our comedy acts. After supper we hosted our comedy night with some amazing acts and judges, then it was off to play man hunt, drink hot chocolate and bed. All the children are being amazing and the instructors are impressed with their manners and behaviour.
